Shadowplay, the omnisexual indie/electro/new wave/discopunk club, is
back Friday, April 7 with a record release party for Swedish glam band
The Ark. The Ark are fronted by the hot Ola Salo, whose live performances
have been compared to Hedwig. They are releasing "The State of the
Ark," featuring "Clamour for Glamour" and "This Poetry is Meant to Do
Harm." We've got lots of give-aways to mark the occasion. Plus we have the
latest indie/electro remixes and new wave faves spun by DJ Donimo, and
our glamorous guest DJs Rchrd Oh?! (this.bigstereo.net, Hold Yr
Horses) and Femme Fury (Shadowplay's "Cherry Bomb" nights, Catfight, and
86'd). All in all, it will be a night to remember (if you remember
anything at all, with the Stud's notoriously strong drinks).
