You only have one chance a year to dance outdoors to discopunk on the streets of San Francisco (at least until we can get a float at the Love Parade). It's coming up this Sunday-- the Shadowplay Stage at the SF Pride Festival. Dance to your favorite discopunk remixes by MSTRKRFT, the DFA, Phones, Whitey, Mylo, Headman, Linus Loves, etc, etc all afternoon, on Hyde St, just off Market St, on Sunday, June 25, 2006, noon-6:30pm.

This year we are featuring, all the way from Sweden, the glam rock band The Ark.

The Shadowplay Stage is Pride’s indie dance oasis. DJ Donimo and guests spin the latest indie, electro, and discopunk remixes, plus alternative classics ranging from ‘70’s glam and punk, to ‘80’s new wave, no wave, and post-punk, to ‘90’s riot grrrl. It’s the place at Pride for indie boys and grrrls, punks, goths, mods and rockers, prisoners of the ‘80’s, and other music fanatics.

Shadowplay Stage schedule:
Noon - 1:00pm --Femme Fury (Catfight)
1:00 - 2:00 pm – Skip (New Wave City)
2:00 - 3:00 pm -- Rchrd Oh?! (Hold Yr Horses)
3:00 - 3:30 pm – Donimo (Shadowplay)
3:30 – 4:30 pm --The Ark (live performance)
4:30 - 6:30 pm – Donimo and Dan (Shadowplay)
