No, not the Russian constructivist sculptor.

This Naum Gabo first came to my attention with the very good Naum Gabo remix of Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out."

Here is an excellent new Naum Gabo remix, of Hot Chip's "Over and Over."

Enjoy.

Naum Gabo/Naum Naum/Naum = Johnny Wilkes of Optimo.

I first caught wind of him via the massive "Red Cones" on the Colette N.5 comp from a few years back. Never found the white label of that, would love a copy or an un-mixed MP3 if available.

JD Twitch and Jonnie Wilkes's club, Optimo, in Glasgow, along with Erol Alkan's Trash in London, are probably the two most influential discopunk clubs out there. JD Twitch does some nice mixes, that are given away at Optimo, and are sometimes up on the Optimo site.
