What were your favorite tracks of 2005, that might-- at least loosely-- fit under the category of discopunk?
I'll refrain from posting my favorites just yet, because we're doing a countdown at the Jan. 6 Shadowplay of the Shadowplay top ten. Folks can post their choices for the Shadowplay Top Ten in the Shadowplay tribe here:
shadowplay.tribe.net/thread/...3cb32760
and win prizes for the list closest to ours. But I thought I'd ask the broader Discopunk tribe what your favorites of 2005 were.

Re: Favorite tracks of 2005?
Fri, December 30, 2005 - 12:37 PMI love the original of "Supa Doopa"! It was one of my "Best of 2004." (The remixes, however, are from 2005.)
Somewhere in the Discopunk photo album are pics I took of Les George Leningrad performing at The End, in London, in Oct. 2004. The first of the 2 LGL shows I saw there was my favorite live show of 2004.

Re: Favorite tracks of 2005?
Wed, January 4, 2006 - 11:46 PMThere were a ton of great discopunk tracks of 2005. We've decided to do a Top 20 instead of a Top 10, because Donimo and I were unable to agree on cuts to our lists beyond 20 tracks.
So this Friday at Shadowplay, we'll be counting down the Top 20 discopunk tracks of 2005, starting at 11:30pm, instead of midnight. DJ Julian DeStrukt (Pop Roxx, Tokyo Electric) will also be spinning.
Meanwhile, no one has guessed more than 1 of the 20 in the Shadowplay tribe for our contest, so list your favorites in the Shadowplay tribe as well as here and win stuff.

Fri, January 6, 2006 - 3:28 PMWow, I'm impressed by the knowledge on this tribe. I honestly hope that you all actually go out once in awhile to hear these tracks in the wild.
I have only one addition to this list... My all-time fav for 2005;
The Knife - 'Pass This On' (Dahlback And Dahlback Mix)
Which I just might play tonight if the mood is right :]
