Highlight for me was when lead singer Tahita gave our Jorge props for his enthusiasm--"I can see *you're* drunk!" Tahita reminds me of Poly Styrene of X-Ray Spex. The Ponies cut their set short because Tahita was ill and losing her voice. NYPC has cancelled all of their scheduled shows through years' end for Tahita and her voice to recover for the big NME tour of the UK in February.
